Simulation Laboratory Technician
Job Summary
The Simulation Laboratory Technician leads and supports simulation-based education across multiple GHS locations. This role oversees the daily operations of simulation labs, provides technical expertise, and collaborates with faculty to deliver high-quality, immersive simulation experiences.
Job Duties
Coordinates and supports simulation activities across multiple GHS simulation sites.
Collaborates with faculty to design, implement, and refine simulation scenarios aligned with educational objectives.
Manages daily lab operations, including setup, teardown, equipment maintenance, and inventory control.
Maintains clean, safe, and organized simulation environments at all locations.
Provides technical support for simulation and multimedia equipment, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades.
Develops realistic simulation scenarios using props, role-play, and scripted dialogue.
Serves as the primary liaison with vendors; coordinate equipment servicing and procurement.
Delivers training and professional development for faculty and staff on simulation best practices and technologies.
Participates in local, state, and national simulation networks and professional organizations.
Responds to internal and external inquiries regarding simulation services and capabilities.
Researches and recommends emerging technologies, tools, and instructional materials to enhance simulation-based learning.

Position Details
EMT, Paramedic, Surgical Technician or CSR role preferred.
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)- (Required), Associate's Degree-Related Field of Study (Preferred)Experience
