Vice President IT Infrastructure & Operations
Job Summary
The Vice President, Infrastructure & Operations is a senior technology executive responsible for the strategic leadership, operational excellence, and continuous improvement of enterprise infrastructure and technology operations. This role oversees the design, delivery, security, availability, and performance of critical IT services supporting clinical, business, and customer-facing operations. The VP of Infrastructure & Operations leads teams responsible for Compute, Storage, Network & Telecommunications, End User Services (EUS), Video Operations, Security Operations, Service Desk, and IT Service Management (ITSM). The position partners closely with executive leadership, business stakeholders, cybersecurity, applications, and digital teams to ensure reliable, secure, scalable, and cost-effective technology services.
Job Duties
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a multi-year Infrastructure & Operations strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
- Establish technology roadmaps for compute, storage, network, telecommunications, collaboration, and end-user technologies.
- Lead modernization initiatives, cloud adoption strategies, automation programs, and operational transformation efforts.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with business leaders, clinical stakeholders, and technology teams.
Infrastructure Operations
- Provide executive leadership for:
- Compute Platforms (physical, virtual, and cloud)
- Enterprise Storage
- Data Centers
- Backup and Recovery Services
- Infrastructure Automation
- Enterprise Monitoring and Operations Centers
- Ensure high availability, resiliency, scalability, and performance of enterprise infrastructure services.
Network & Telecommunications
- Oversee enterprise networking, telecommunications, wireless infrastructure, voice communications, and network operations.
- Ensure reliable connectivity across all facilities, remote locations, and cloud environments.
- Lead network modernization and telecommunications optimization initiatives.
End User Services (EUS)
- Direct enterprise desktop engineering, endpoint management, device lifecycle management, mobility, collaboration tools, and field support services.
- Drive improvements in employee experience, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Establish proactive support models and operational excellence standards.
Video Operations & Collaboration Services
- Lead enterprise audio/visual technologies, conferencing platforms, telehealth video capabilities, collaboration solutions, and digital workplace technologies.
- Ensure seamless delivery of video-enabled business and clinical services.
Security Operations
- Partner with the CISO and cybersecurity leadership to ensure operational security, threat monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, and cyber resilience.
- Ensure infrastructure and operational teams maintain compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Drive a culture of operational security and risk management.
Service Desk Leadership
- Lead enterprise Service Desk operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and rapid issue resolution.
- Establish and monitor service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement in support processes and service delivery.
IT Service Management (ITSM)
- Provide executive sponsorship and governance for ITSM processes, including:
- Incident Management
- Problem Management
- Change Management
- Request Fulfillment
- Asset & Configuration Management
- Knowledge Management
- Service Portfolio Management
- Ensure ITSM practices align with ITIL and industry best practices.
- Leverage ServiceNow and related platforms to automate workflows and improve operational efficiency.
Financial & Vendor Management
- Develop and manage multi-million-dollar operating and capital budgets.
- Drive financial stewardship, cost optimization, and technology investment planning.
- Lead strategic vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and service provider management.
- Identify opportunities for automation, consolidation, and operational efficiencies.
Leadership & Talent Development
- Build and lead high-performing infrastructure and operations teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Develop succession plans and leadership pipelines for critical operational functions.
- Promote operational discipline, reliability engineering, and service excellence.

Education
Bachelor's Degree-Technology Related Degree (Required), Master's Degree-Related Field of Study (Preferred)Experience
